Wrangler has been an amazing horse to work with all the way through his training. He loves children and soaks up all the attention he can get. He does not have bad days. I gave him a week off in the middle of his training and he came back in where we had left off.
Hip#s 15-19 are this year's Makeover Challenge Colts. The Makeover Colt Challenge has been designed as an opportunity for young, up-and-coming trainers to showcase their abilities. The trainers are challenged by starting an untrained 3 year old AQHA gelding in only 5 short months. On May 3rd, the selected 5 trainers purchased these colts from Norman Yoder's farm in Zearing, IA as halter-broke only.
All Makeover Challenge Colts will compete in a Ranch/Trail Class (judged on horsemanship and horses confidence) on Friday after the Sale Horse Preview. 🏆 1st place in the Ranch/Trail class wins $2,500.00, 2nd place wins $1,250.00 and 3rd place wins $750.00 🏆.
