Chad and Paje Turner of Turner Performance Horses have a passion, understanding, and appreciation for a broke, well-rounded, versatile horse!
With a love for horses and matchmaking, the duo consistently strives to set an industry-wide benchmark with Turner Performance Horses. They are fully committed to producing accomplished, versatile family horses on the trails, in the arena, and on the ranch! Promoting horses that are forgiving, functional, respectful, and well-versed for many levels of riders.
The Turners spend most of the summer months in East Helena, Montana, and head south to Congress, Arizona, each winter, where they can spend nearly every day in the saddle—attributing the move twice a year to helping to further season their adaptable horses.
Chad and Paje's enthusiasm didn't happen overnight; the pair grew up riding at young ages, eating, sleeping, and breathing horses. Their first horses forever hold unforgettable places in their hearts, a gift they would love to share and enjoy with you!
Chad and Paje were active members of 4-H, FFA, the National High School Rodeo Association, the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, and the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. Over the years, Chad and Paje have ridden with legendary, world-renowned horse trainers, having taken tools given by each trainer and developed their "toolbox" program of Turner Performance Horses. The two have had much success, won many accolades, and accomplished many goals they had set. "Now it's your turn to shine," Paje says; they enjoy taking the ride with their clients!
Find them competing in various disciplines of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, National Reining Horse Association, Backcountry Riders, National Reined Cowhorse Association, World's Greatest Horsewoman, National Snaffle Bit Association, National Cutting Horse Association, United States Team Roping Championships, Wrangler Team Roping Championships and the World Series of Team Roping. Between the two of them, they have successfully exhibited horses in almost every discipline. When those horses and the Turners are not on the road, they can be found packing their horses into the backcountry mountains on overnight camp trips, branding cattle horseback, or riding across the pasture bareback into the sunset with their dogs in their shadow!
In 2017, they hosted the inaugural League of Legends Invitational Horse Sale at Heart K Land and Cattle Co. in Livingston, Montana. The annual sale features select versatile performance horses from various disciplines, including Ranch, Versatility, Trail Riding, Family, Roping, Pleasure, Reining, Cutting, Barrel, Rodeo, and Cow Horses. The Turners also treasure working their stock dogs and feature some of the best in the West at their League of Legends Sale.
