Atlas is that sweet, quiet horse in our barn who can be relied on for whatever you need... Trail riding, beginners mount, ponying horses, or just a leisurely ride down the road. He is a grade 3/4 Quarter horse / 1/4 draft cross standing 15 hands high. Atlas is well broke to ride both in the arena and on the outside. He has been ridden by younger kids and will do well for all levels of riders. In the arena he gracefully picks up both leads and has a nice walk, trot and canter. He does well with all of our obstacles and has been jumped on some lower jumps. In the woods, he willingly crosses creeks and logs. Atlas has also been ridden on busy state routes in traffic and remains unfazed. Overall he has a happy go lucky, relaxed temperament. We have also taken Atlas on a week long camping wagon train with a large group of horses and he did super! He stands patiently for bathing, shoeing and tacking and lowers his head to bridle.
