Vance is as gentle as they come. He has been on trail rides with hundreds of horses and riders while carrying a buddy seat. He didn't mind if several horse lengths were between him and the horse in front of him, he kept his steady pace, keeping his cargo safe. He has been through creeks, over bridges and logs. In the arena, he is schooling first level dressage, and would make a dependable show horse. We have bounced him over low jumps, too. He has an easy, balanced canter, and steady trot. In the barn, he stands quietly, even when kids and dogs are underfoot. He clips, bathes, and shoes without a problem. Loads and trailers just fine. Lays down on command. He is sound, with no vices.
