Description:

Spartan is trained to ride and drive. He is experienced hacking out, both down trails, or out on the road in traffic. He crosses creeks, and goes up and down hills with ease. He has the surefootedness of his quarter horse mother. We have met deer and other wildlife, and he takes it all in stride. In the arena, he has both leads, and moves off leg pressure. He has dressage training, and can be ridden english or western. He is fine with a snaffle or curb. He is started in lateral movements. He has excellent body control and a good stop. He has great manners in the barn, and stands in crossties or simply tied to a post. He wants to be your friend, and loves attention. He stands to have his hoofs picked and for the farrier. We bought Spartan directly from the breeder as a weanling. We owned his sired, and had a hand in all aspects of his life. His friesian sire was known for his disposition and trainability. Spartan has never been lame a day in his life. He has never coliced or been sick, and has no old injuries or scars. He is UTD on his shots, teeth floating, and dewormer.
