Willard is a 2017 registered AQHA gelding standing a perfect size of 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1,100 lbs making him just the right size for the entire family! Willard is the ultimate family horse he’s happy to walk all day long and take care of anyone on his back or go show in rookie or non pro level reining or the ranch riding he’s excellent for an amateur riding looking to have fun in the ranch riding classes or for youth kids or just have fun walking quietly down the trails on a Sunday afternoon after a long work week. Nothing scares or worries Willard he’s rock solid and consistent and quiet as they come! He’s so user friendly! Willard as we call him around the barn has a fun loving personality in the barn and always loves any attention you give him. He is also very fun in the area doing maneuvers like lead changes , speed transitions, spins , and sliding stops! He has a great slow trot and extended trot for the ranch riding and a quiet easy canter. Along with that we have enjoyed using him on the ranch roping and doctoring cattle and he enjoys it! We can’t mention enough how quiet and easy Willard is he’s the kinda horse that fits so any different levels of riders. We have enjoyed taking this cute fella through our program and he’s passed it all with flying colors. Willard is good and easy in new places and environments he’s the kinda of horse you take somewhere to a new place and unload toss the saddle on and go play he doesn’t require any warm up or maintaining he’s just easy and fun. He hauls and loads great as well as good for the farrier and vet and clipping and loves his bathes! He is up to date on everything and is 100% sounds with no vices or health issues.
